How to Uninstall Corrupt Files in Vista
Sometimes, a program becomes corrupt. This can be caused by any number of circumstances, but the most likely is that the user somehow deleted an important file that the program needed in order to work properly. In many cases, this corruption means that the program cannot be easily uninstalled, as its built-in uninstaller has also been corrupted. When this happens, it becomes necessary to use a third party uninstaller, such as Revo Uninstaller, to permanently delete all traces of that program from your computer.

Open your browser and navigate to the Revo Uninstaller download page.

Click the "Download Revo Uninstaller free" button and choose the "Save" option if prompted to do so. Be careful not to click the "Download Revo Uninstaller Pro" button, as you will be charged for the download.

Close your browser and all other open applications when the download has completed.

Open the installation file you just downloaded.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install Revo Uninstaller on your computer.

Restart your computer if prompted to so.

Open the Revo Uninstaller program when the installation completes. If an icon was not placed on the desktop, you can open it from within the start menu, under Programs menu.
