How to Open a Jumpdrive on a Macbook

Lexar, a manufacturer of computer memory products, produces a line of USB flash drives under the name JumpDrive. USB flash drives are portable drives people use to store and transfer computer information. The JumpDrive Retrax, JumpDrive TwistTurn, JumpDrive Secure II Plus and JumpDrive FireFly are available with storage capacities of 2 to 64 gigabytes. All JumpDrive products are Mac OS X compatible. It is not necessary for MacBook users to format these drives before use.

Instructions

      Remove the cap on the JumpDrive head or push out the retractable USB connector.

      Insert the JumpDrive into either of the two USB ports on the side of your MacBook.

      Open a Finder window on your computer. The JumpDrive icon will appear on the left side of the window, under "Devices."

      Double-click the JumpDrive icon to reveal the drive contents.
