How to Repair a High-Heeled Shoe
Repairing a high-heeled shoe can save you time and money. Not only will you not have to buy a new pair of shoes, you will not have to take the time to find that perfect pair. When the heel breaks off a shoe, it can be fixed and with proper care will look and perform like it did new. The cheapest way to repair your shoe is to reuse the original nails -- assuming you did not lose them when your shoe broke. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Clean off any excess glue or debris at the top of the shoe heel and along the sole of the shoe. A cleaner surface will allow for a better glue hold and longer use of your shoes.
-
2
Apply a thin layer of shoe or wood glue to the sole of the shoe and to the top of the shoe heel. Use your fingers to apply the glue more cleanly.

3
Attach the shoe heel to the sole of the shoe in the same place it was originally attached. Use a C-clamp to hold the heel in place while the glue dries. Consult the glue's directions for the length of time needed before your glue is dry.
-
4
Remove any liner inside the shoe. Access the sole of the shoe underneath the liner.
-
5
Apply a thin layer of glue to the shoe nail. The glue will help ensure a better hold for the nail. Insert the nail into the original hole in the sole of the shoe. Hammer the nail in until it is flush with the sole.
-
6
Insert one or two more glue-covered nails for extra hold. If the heel has a wide diameter, this will be an easy task. If not, you may only want to add one more nail.
