How to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit Table
While Fahrenheit is the generally accepted temperature measuring unit in the United States, it is not the preferred unit worldwide. Throughout most of the world, temperature is recorded in Celsius, which requires a specific mathematical process to be converted to Fahrenheit and vice versa. The mathematical process is very simple, and requires only a few steps to complete. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
-
-
1
Record the temperature reading in Celsius from a thermometer. (For example, a temperature reading of 37 degrees Celsius).
-
2
Multiply the temperature reading by 9/5. Use a calculator to ensure no errors are made, which would cause the conversion process to fail. (37 x 9/5 = 66.6)
-
-
3
Add 32 degrees to this number. The resulting number will be the temperature reading in Fahrenheit. (66.6 + 32 = 98.6)
-
4
Repeat this same process for any Celsius reading to convert it to Fahrenheit.
-
5
Draw a two column table, putting the Celsius temperatures on the right, and the calculated Fahrenheit converted temperatures on the left.

Tips & Warnings
Fahrenheit can be converted to Celsius by reversing the process. Subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit reading, then multiply by 5/9.
