How to Enable a Script Host in Windows XP
Windows scripting can be a difficult, time-consuming task requiring the user writing scripts to possess some basic programming skills. Scripting is used to create commands which can alleviate the need to issue the same set of commands manually over and over in Windows. Scripts allow system administrators to work on more pressing items rather than spending needed time working on repetitive tasks. A script only needs to be created once and then it can be run any time it is needed, performing all the necessary steps in a task, saving a lot of time and energy.
