How to Wash Work Boots
A quality, comfortable pair of work boots is essential when working outdoors or doing hard, manual labor. Keeping the work boots clean, however, can become a bit of a challenge. Things You'll Need
- Scrub brush
- Small bucket
- Water
- Mink oil
- Soft cloth
- Water-proofing product

Use a scrub brush with soft bristles to wipe dirt and debris off of the work boots.

Fill a small bucket with cool water and dip the brush into the water. Gently scrub the work boots with the wet brush until the boots are clean. Let the boots dry.

Condition the boots. Use a soft cloth to apply a thin layer of mink oil to your boots. Wipe off any excess oil and let the boots air dry.

Polish the work boots. Buff them with the soft cloth, using a circular motion.

Apply a water-proofing product, such as boot protector, to your boots. This will protect your boots from rain, snow and ice damage.
