How to Change a Visited Link Color in PowerPoint
Changing the color of visited links could potentially make or break your PowerPoint presentation. It affords you the freedom to change the course of your presentation in response to audience questions, rather than having to move sequentially through your links, since you can easily identify which ones you have visited. This allows you to change the order you move through your links on a whim and gives you a way to ensure that you cover all of them, while increasing the professionalism and overall aesthetic appeal of your presentation.

Click on the "Design" tab at the top of the page.

Select the "Colors" menu from the middle box near the top of the screen labeled "Themes." The "Colors" menu is in the top right corner of this box.

Select "Create New Theme Colors" from the drop-down menu. A pop-up window appears.

Click on the box directly to the right of "followed hyperlink."

Select the color to which you want the visited link to change from the drop-down menu.

Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.

Select the "Format" menu from the top menu bar. A drop-down menu appears.

Click "Slide Design" from the drop-down menu. A task pane window appears.

Select "Color Schemes" from the task pane. It is the second link from the top left of the task pane.

Click on the link titled "Edit Color Schemes..." at the bottom left of the task pane. A pop-up window appears.

Select the "Custom" tab. It is the second tab from the top left of the window.

Highlight the colored square to the immediate left of the text "Accent and followed hyperlink" by clicking on it. This is the last colored square displayed in the "Scheme colors" box on the left side of the window.

Click on the button labeled "Change Color..." at the bottom of the "Scheme colors" box on the left side of the window.

Select the tab labeled "Standard," and click on the color to which you want the link to change once visited from the hexagonal display of colors. You are transferred back to the "Edit Color Scheme" window.

Click the button at the top right of the window labeled "Apply."
