How to Make Flower Bead Earrings
Flower beaded earrings are fun to make and fun to wear. They can be made for any occasion or any outfit. Made of a single color or a variety of coordinating colors, your beaded flower earrings will make a statement wherever you go.
Things You'll Need
- Seed beads in your choice of color
- Beading wire
- Wire cutters
- French earring wire
- Jump ring
- Small pliers (optional)
Instructions

Creating the Flower
-
1
Put five seed beads onto the wire and twist the wire tightly so the beads form a small circle. This is the center of the flower, so you can make these a different color than the rest of the flower, if you choose.
-
2
Cut one end of the wire short so it cannot be seen.
-
-
3
Thread seven beads onto the long wire.
-
4
Thread the wire back through one of the middle circle beads, creating a rounded petal shape. Repeat to make four petals.
-
5
Add a jump ring on the last petal before sliding through the center bead. This ring is bigger than the beads and may slide around, but that is okay. This is what you will use to attach the flower to the earrings.
-
6
Wrap the long piece of wire a few times around the middle circle of beads. Do not wrap it on the beads, but rather around the wire between those beads. Make sure you wrap tightly.
-
7
Trim the wire so it does not show.
-
8
Repeat the above steps to create another flower for the other earring.
Creating the Earring
-
9
Open the jump ring on the flower carefully. You may need to use small pliers if your fingers do not work.
-
10
Put it on the bottom loop of the earring wire.
-
11
Close the jump ring so the earring wire loop is inside.
-
12
Repeat for the other earring.
