Or make a set of handmade photo notecards as a personal gift to a close friend or relative. You can make your own photo notecards with prints of your favorite photographs and a few basic scrapbooking supplies.

1
Select a photograph or a set of photographs to include on your notecards.
-
2
Make prints of your chosen photograph or photographs. If you don't have a good color printer at home, you can order prints online at snapfish.com or shutterfly.com, or you can take your camera's memory card to a digital photo-printing kiosk at a copy center or pharmacy. Make small 4x6 prints to use for the notecards.

Select 11x16 sheets of cardstock in colors or patterns that work well with your prints.

4
Cut each 11x16 sheet of cardstock into two 5.5x8 pieces. Fold each 5.5x8 piece in half to make a notecard.
-
5
Use acid-free, photo-safe paste or rubber cement to mount a print on the front of each card. Let the paste dry.
-
6
Write personal messages on the inside of each card to send them individually. Or, to give a set of the cards as a gift, stack them neatly and tie them together with a pretty, colorful ribbon.
