How to Delete User Profile XP Home

With the Windows XP Home edition, you can create a number of user accounts (profiles) if you have multiple users on the computer. As the administrator, you can set limitations on what users have access to on the computer. If you are going to be the sole user of the computer, you can delete other user accounts quickly and easily without affecting your administrator user account.

      Log on your operating system using your administrator password. Click the Windows "Start" menu and click the "Control Panel."

      Double-click "Performance and Maintenance" and click "Administrative Tools." Double-click "Computer Management."

      Click "System Tools" and click "Local users and groups." Click "Users" and right-click the user account that you want to delete. Click "Delete."
