How to Add a Font in Gimp
Gimp is a downloadable digital image manipulation program (See Reference 1). It can be used for any number of tasks, including photo retouching, digital illustration and colorization. It operates very similarly to expensive and prolific programs like Adobe Photoshop, but is available for free. Just one of Gimp's many tricks is the ability to add text to an image--simply type your message, and you can make it appear on an image in a variety of font styles and colors. You also have the option to download your own fonts from the Internet and add them to the program.
