How to Find Duplicate Files on an iMac
To run efficiently, iMac computers should have a minimum of 10 percent of the hard drive memory free. But finding free space can be difficult. Most computer users have duplicate files--files that contain the same information--of which they aren't aware. Finding these files manually is not effective, because you would need to review the contents of each file to see if it is the same. There are computer applications for Macs that allow you to find and remove unwanted duplicate files. Removing unnecessary duplicate files frees up space on the hard disk and improves the organization of your computer.
