How to Connect Your MacBook to an S-Video Connection

S-Video connections are widely used in TV equipment and TVs themselves. Connecting a MacBook to a TV through a S-Video connection will allow you to play DVDs and other media from your MacBook on the TV, instead of using a standard DVD player. However, MacBooks do not come standard with S-Video ports, so you must use a mini-DVI to S-Video adapter.
