How to Get Wireless Linksys Hardware to Work on Windows XP 64 Bit

Although the 32- and 64-bit editions of Windows XP are fundamentally the same, there is a substantially difference in method by which they access system memory, which can create problems when it comes to interfacing with individual parts of system hardware, such as a wireless Linksys hardware. The solution to this problem is to utilize 64-bit drivers, which are readily available from the manufacturer's website.

whoever wrote this should be fired, from a cannon. If the author had actually tried the instructions as written, they would not succeed in making an xp 64 machine work with a linksys adapter. Give me a job writing for you; I would give you good tips and better yet i would hold my tongue when i know nothing of the matter at hand. For now my search for a 64-bit driver cruises into the night.
