How to Edit a Website With Microsoft FrontPage
Microsoft FrontPage 2003 provides myriad tools for Web design and Web page editing and allows you to create new websites from scratch or modify sites that already exist. If you have a website that has already been created but needs modifications, FrontPage can import the files from your computer as a website project, making it easy for you to keep track of your site's pages and content.

Imorting a Website From Your Computer

Open Microsoft FrontPage and select "Import" from the "File" menu.

Click the "Add Folder" button to open the "Import Folder" browser.

Use the "Import Folder" browser to navigate to the folder that contains the pages of your website.

Select the folder that contains your website and click "Open." Microsoft FrontPage will import the entire folder and all of its sub-folders as a new website project for you to edit and modify.

Use FrontPage's editing and development tools to modify your website. Save your project when editing is complete to keep your changes.
Importing a Website Stored on a Server

Select "Import" from the "File" menu.

Click the "From Site" option and select "HTTP" from the subset of options.

Use the HTTP browser to locate and select a page from the website you want to import and click "Open."

Click "Next" to navigate through the "Import Web Site" Wizard. Use the default settings of the Import Wizard and click "Finish" to import the website.

Use FrontPage's editing and development tools to modify your website. Save your project when editing is complete to keep your changes.

Tips & Warnings
If the website you are importing your files from uses encryption, check the "Encrypted Connection Required (SSL)" box before the Import Wizard begins.
