How to Connect a Wii Audio Video Cable to a TV
Nintendo released its Wii game console in 2005. Since then it has broken sales records for all game consoles, becoming the best-selling console in a single month in December 2009. With its broader demographic, Wii is outselling both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. But like any electronic device, sometimes figuring out how to connect the Wii to the TV can be confusing.

1
Turn your Nintendo Wii console and TV off.
-
2
Take out the audio/video (A/V) multi-plug that came with your Nintendo Wii.
-
-
3
Insert the square end of the A/V multi-plug into the back of the Wii console where it is labeled "AV Multi Out."
-
4
Locate the A/V input holes on the back or front of your TV. The A/V inputs are three holes that are right next to each other, either horizontally or vertically; one is red, one is yellow and one is white. They should be labeled "AV In."
-
5
Insert the plugs into the TV, coordinating each color. For example, the yellow plug should be inserted into the yellow A/V input hole on the TV.
-
6
Turn the Nintendo Wii and TV on. You will then need to find the input selection menu on your TV to view your Wii. Consult your TV manual for specific directions on finding your input selection menu.
