Instructions

    • 1

Hold the booklet so that the spiral coil is running vertically.

    • 2

Use wire pliers to unhook the top end of the spiral. Slightly curve the very end of the coil so it will fit through the holes of the booklet.

    • 3

Grab the spiral coil firmly and start spinning it around in the direction that will cause it to work its way down and out of the holes of the booklet.

    • 4

Keep spinning the spiral until the entire coil is freed from the booklet.

Tips & Warnings

  • Another method is to use wire cutters to cut each curve of the spiral coil. Carefully remove the coil pieces from the booklet and throw them away.

  • Remember to be gentle. Work slowly and carefully as you spin so that the coil doesn't snag the paper pages.
