How to Train for a Women's Body Sculpting Competition
Body sculpting competitors, also known as body builders, work for hours every day to perfect the shape of their musculature to meet the standards of body sculpting competitions. Those seeking to take up body sculpting must be prepared to dedicate themselves fully to the craft, working hard both on their exercises and their diets, as both are equally important in building the body up to competition standards.

1
Eat properly before and after your workouts to maximize the effectiveness of your lifting. Eating poorly before a workout will leave you tired, reducing your effectiveness in the gym, while eating poorly after the workout leads to suboptimal results from that session. Eat a high-energy meal before working out. Meal replacement bars are an excellent way to get a lot of energy without filling your stomach. After the workout, eat meals high in protein and drink a supplemental shake.

2
Eat regular small meals throughout the day, eating a small meal every two to three hours. Avoiding meals can lead to an adverse reaction when you do eat. It can lead to binge eating, which entails eating larger portions of food than is required, and can be particularly damaging if the food being binged upon is not healthy in the first place.

3
Remove any carbohydrates from your morning meal the morning after a night in which you binged or had an unusually large dinner meal. This will help to minimize the negative effects of the prior day, in order to lessen the impact on your physique.
-
4
Use exercise while holding weights to work on your lower body. Exercises like lunges and squats are excellent ways to build your upper legs and butt and to sculpt them into competition shape.
-
5
Focus your upper body exercises on burning fat and building muscle, to give your arms a sleek, sculpted shape. Exercises like dips, triceps extensions or bicep curls are great exercises for toning and sculpting your arms.

6
Rest your muscles properly between exercise days. Working the same group of muscles will actually hurt your muscle development, as muscle growth does not occur during a workout. It occurs during rest, when your body rebuilds the muscle fibers torn during the workout. Your body then builds the fibers bigger and stronger to prevent further tears, creating the growth. Always give a muscle group at least one day off before working out again.
