How to Create a Web Photo Gallery With Flash CS3
Hundreds of digital pictures you take can be ignored by potential viewers. Making a web photo gallery with Flash CS3 is a good way to show your pictures. Open up a Flash CS3 document. Set the size of the window. Click on "Size." This is located in the properties window. Input the height and width you require. Make two layers. The image will be displayed on the top layer. The thumbnails will be located on the bottom layer.

Make a frame for each of the images. Double-click the thumbnail. Select the number that represents the images shown in your gallery. Choose "Insert Frame" and right click.

Choose the desired background. Select the black color from the "Background" drop-down box. This is located in the properties window.

Open Photoshop. Click the photo that you want to include in the photo gallery in Photoshop. Make a copy of the photo. Resize the image to the size of the thumbnails. Choose "File>Import to Library" in Flash. Choose the photo and thumbnail for the gallery.

Choose the first frame in the thumbnail section and then place the first thumbnail to the flash window. Choose "Modify>Convert to Symbol." Label the symbol "b1." Choose "Button" as the type, and in the properties window input "b1." Make sure to do this in the "Instance Name" box. Repeat this step to arrange any other thumbnails. Label the buttons in a sequential order. Choose the initial frame in the image section. Make certain that an open circle is in the initial frame. Place the initial image to the Flash window. Select the second key frame. Choose "Insert Blank Key frame." Repeat these steps to include any remaining images.
