Make Your Own
-
1
Create your desired design using software on your computer. Incorporate your hospital's logo or a slogan you and your emergency room staff use.
-
2
Print your design on a plain piece of paper to check orientation and size before loading the iron-on paper into your printer.
-
-
3
Print your custom design on the iron-on transfer using the "Mirror" feature to flip your design.
-
4
Lay a sweatshirt flat on your ironing board. Put a towel inside the sweatshirt or maneuver the sweatshirt so that only the front is on top of the ironing board. This will ensure the iron-on does not transfer onto the back.
-
5
Place the iron-on transfer facedown on the sweatshirt in the desired location.
-
6
Press your hot iron down onto the back of the iron-on transfer. Moving the iron in small circles, press for at least one minute.
-
7
Allow the transfer to cool for at least five minutes. Gently peel the paper back from your sweatshirt. If it resists, place your iron back on the transfer for another 30 seconds, or until the transfer can peel back without pulling the design.
