How to Drill Cultured Marble
Cultured marble is a resin, not a natural stone. For this reason, you do not need to use expensive drill bits designed to drill into granite or marble. Standard drill bits and hole saws cut easily through the cultured marble, although you need to ensure that the drill bit remains cool during the process of drilling. To reduce the heat buildup, you need to use a lubricant to cool both the drill bit and the area of the cultured marble that you are drilling. Does this Spark an idea?
