Place your lip liner pencil in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Sharpen the liner with the sharpener.

Rub the liner on the inside of your palm or between your thumb and forefinger. This will warm up the pencil slightly to help the color stay and keep you from feeling the uncomfortable cold on your lips!

Tips & Warnings
Make sure you use a pencil sharpener made for makeup pencils and not for writing or colored pencils. The shorter the blade, the less likely the pencil will break when sharpened. Also, the sharper the blade the better. These tips can also be used for eyeliner and eyebrow pencils.
To avoid spreading infections and diseases, never share lip liner or sharpeners.
Throw away all makeup that is over 6 months old.
