How to Configure WoW Internet Service With a Router
World of Warcraft, or WoW, is considered to be one of the largest MMORPG games currently on the market. The Blizzard.com website estimates that over a million people play Warcraft. Blizzard helps the curious by allowing the basic game to be downloaded for free from their website and giving new users a 10-day free trial period to test out the game.

1
Install the software on your computer. You have the option of buying a disc with the software on it or downloading it for free from the Blizzard.com website. After you download the software, double-click on the icon located on your desktop and install the game.
-
2
Register for an account. If you are a new player, you will need to register your account. While there is a 10-day free trial, several options are limited until you upgrade to a paid subscription.

3
Sign in and play the game. After you have registered for an account you will be granted immediate access to Warcraft. Log in and begin to play.
-
4
Set up wireless access. If you wish to play the game on a wireless computer, you will need to have a router set up that will allow the signal to reach your computer. For optimum game play without lagging, you need a "good" to "excellent" signal strength. In the event that you do not, consider adjusting the location of the router or computer until you do.

5
Set your system up for multiple computer gaming. In the event that you wish to have several computers within a specific location all playing Warcraft at the same time, consider using a router to allow a hardline connection through DSL cables that plug into the router and then into the computers. Computers with wireless capabilities will not need the DSL cable and will connect through their Wi-Fi signal.
