How to Export Outlook 2000 Calendar Files As ICS

Microsoft Outlook 2000 is a desktop program for managing e-mail, contacts and calendar events, which came bundled with Microsoft Office 2000 Professional. To make Outlook 2000 compatible with other calendaring software, Microsoft included options for exporting Outlook calendar files to other file formats, including the iCalendar standard, which uses files with a .ics extension. Outlook 2000 users can save their calendar files as .ics files and export them from Outlook to share with users of the iCalendar standard.
