How to Insert an Electronic Signature in Dreamweaver

After you create a signature image in a graphics application, add the file to your webpage to display the customizations that you set, such as font, color or size, that help establish your identity. Using the Adobe Dreamweaver application, use the tools to insert this electronic signature file into your webpage and ensure that it displays as you want it to before you publish it to the web.

      Launch the Adobe Dreamweaver application. Begin a new page or open an existing one.

      Locate the area on the page where you want the signature to appear and place your cursor in this position in the design view.

      Select the "Image" option from the "Insert" drop-down menu and select your signature file from the dialog window. Click a corner on your signature that appears in the design view and drag the mouse out or in to make the image bigger or smaller as preferred.

      Select your signature in the design view and click an option, such as "Left," from the "Align" drop-down menu in the Properties inspector. Select a choice such as "Sharpen" (if needed) to optimize your signature on the page.

      Click the "Save As" option from the "File" menu to name and/or save your page.
