How to Access Templates Remotely in Microsoft Outlook 2007

Microsoft Outlook is a program that comes with the Microsoft Office bundle of software programs. Microsoft Outlook is both an email client and a personal information management software. It allows you to send and receive emails, store contact information and schedule appointments. The application also gives you the option to create templates for emails. You can access your email account and templates when using your email from a remote location with Outlook 2007.

      Open Outlook by double-clicking the icon on your computer's desktop. Click on the "Tools" menu button on the file menu, then choose "Options."

      Click the "Mail Setup" tab in the "Options" window. In the Mail Setup tab, select the "Email Accounts" option and then open the "Email" tab.

      Choose your email account from the Email tab and then click the "Change" button. Next, click on the "More Settings" option and open the "Connections" tab.

      Select the box that says "Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP." On the subsequent menu, open the proxy settings window by clicking on the "Exchange Proxy Settings" button.

      Input your Outlook Web Access address into the "Connection Settings" field. Once you are finished, click the "OK" button to close all windows. You will now be able to access an Outlook 2007 email account and any templates stored therein remotely.
