1
Cut three long strips of nylon netting measuring 6 inches by 72 inches for a smaller-size scrubber (good for dish washing) or 8 inches by 72 inches for a larger-size scrubber (good for the shower and bath).
-
2
Stack the three strips on top of one another.
-
-
3
Double-thread a needle with nylon thread.
-
4
Use the threaded needle to knot together one end of the stacked together strips. Use a single not placed at the center-point of that edge.
-
5
Use the threaded needle to sew down the middle of the three strips using a long stitch. Use approximately 1- to 1 1/2-inch long stitches. Once you get to the other end, reverse and create another stitch line going the other direction.
-
6
Pinch the knotted end in your fingers and pull on the needle and thread in order to contract and bunch together the nylon netting.
-
7
Wrap the thread a few times around the center of the bunch and secure it with a knot. Cut off the excess thread. For hanging on a shower rack, a looped piece of soft rope can also be tied around the center.
-
8
Fluff up the nylon netting to create a round shape.
