Instructions

    • 1

Separate your nylon blouses and other nylon items from the rest of your laundry. Ideally, nylon items should be washed in a separate load so you can put them on a more delicate setting in the washer. If you decide to put them in with a regular load, wash them in a mesh laundry bag to prevent damage.

    • 2

Add the desired amount of all-purpose laundry detergent to the washing machine. Choose the cold water setting and delicate cycle if not otherwise specified on any of the blouse labels.

    • 3

Make sure to pour fabric softener into the washing machine's fabric softener dispenser to help reduce static, since nylon blouses are prone to static.

    • 4

Allow the water to fill about a quarter of the washing machine tub before putting the clothes inside.

    • 5

Remove the blouses from the washing machine immediately after the load is done to reduce wrinkles. Dry the blouses on low heat or allow them to air-dry.

    • 6

Iron on a cool setting, if ironing is necessary.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you wash your nylon blouses often, consider hand washing them instead. Frequent machine washing and drying of nylon can cause the fabric to develop little nubs, making it look worn and ragged.
