How to Make a Funeral Slide Show
A slide show of poignant shared moments could be incredibly uplifting and comforting in a time of loss. Making a slide show for a funeral will be the same as producing a slide show for any other occasion. But it is important to take heed to everyone's emotional state during this sensitive and difficult time, so choose images and music that properly memorialize and celebrate the life of the lost loved one.

1
Compile the photos that you would like to include in your slide show. Ask others if there are photos that they would like be included in the slide show. Include photos that represent the person and how they lived, especially photos of them sharing happy times with family and friends.
-
2
Scan the photographs onto your computer that are not already in a digital format. Decide how you would like the photos to be sequenced. Try to keep them in chronological order to show the person's life as she aged. Perhaps select a poignant, uplifting song to be played in the background.

3
Drag your photos into movie-editing software to create a video slide show or use presentation programs. Determine whether to create your slide show in a movie file or a presentation format is best, depending upon how you will be showing the slide show (i.e., on a television or with a projector connected to a computer).

Export the file and save it onto a CD, burn it onto a DVD or drag it onto a flash drive.
