How to Clean a Dooney & Burke

• Cup
• Mild soap
• Water
• Cloth
• Toothbrush

Instructions

1. Moisten a cloth with warm water, and wipe over both the exterior and interior of the bag. This will remove loose residue and dirt from the bag. The water will be safe on both the fabric and hardware.

2. Pour 1/2 cup of warm water into a cup.

3. Dampen a soft toothbrush in the water, then either pour a drop of laundry detergent onto the toothbrush, or rub the wet toothbrush across a bar of mild bath soap.

4. Scrub any soiled areas of the bag with the soapy toothbrush, scrubbing in small circular motions. Repeat as needed until all stains have been removed.

5. Wipe the bag again with a damp cloth to remove loosened soil, and let the bag air dry.
