Several websites offer e-cards that can be sent through email, no matter what greeting your are trying to send.

Go to an e-card website such as egreetings.com. From here, the instructions will use egreetings.com as an example.

Choose the type of card you are looking to send from the menu located on the left side of the screen. Options include birthdays, congratulations and holidays. Click on the type of card you are looking for.

Click on the specific e card you would like to send. Some e-cards include animation or music, so preview your card before sending it.

Select "email this eCard" at the top of the page.

Type your name, your email address, the address of the recipient, and your personal message in the appropriate fields.

Preview your card by clicking on the "preview your eCard" button below the information fields. Make any edits to your card, and when you are satisfied with it, click on the large "send eCard" button to send your eCard.
