How to Attach a Timbuk2 to a Bike
Timbuk2 manufactures heavy duty, durable bags for bike messengers and other cycling enthusiasts. Timbuk2 bags are easily recognized by their three-panel front flap with a small swirl logo embroidered in the lower corner. While some cyclists do not mind carrying a heavy bag on their backs, others prefer to keep the weight of their gear off their bodies. Panniers attach to the sides of a bicycle's back wheel and make it easy for cyclists to carry cargo. Timbuk2 now makes messenger bags that can be worn across the body or easily attached to a pannier rack on a bike. The company also makes smaller bags that can be attached to a seatpost.

1
Securely fasten the pannier rack to the back wheel of your bicycle. The rack is usually fastened to the wheel by positioning the rack over the wheel and threading the wheel axle through the bottom of the frame.

2
Locate the hooks on the back of the Timbuk2. Slide them over the horizontal bar on the pannier rack.

3
Wrap the Velcro strap around the hooks and rack. You may have a tight squeeze because the Velcro secures between the rack and the wheel.
-
4
Attach a Timbuk2 seat bag by threading the Velcro strap, located on the top of the bag, through the underside of your bike's seat post. Press the Velcro firmly in place.
