How to Make Bridal Combs
Every bride wants to look her absolute best on her wedding day. A bride's wedding day look begins with her hairstyle, wedding veil and hair accessories. Avoid paying for expensive bridal combs--make your own. Customize some plain combs by adding your favorite flowers or beaded jewelry. - 2 white hair combs
- White silk flowers
- Simulated pearl picks
- Glitzy stones
- Wire cutters
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue
- Scissors

Shop for combs that best suit your hair. Buy small combs for hair accents. For holding up or pulling back thicker hair, buy larger combs.

Clip the white silk flowers with their white petals from the bush with wire cutters. Clip several flowers for each hair comb. Set them aside and throw the bush away.

Clip the pearl strands from the stump. Place the strands next to the silk flowers and throw the bush away.

Heat up the hot glue gun. Load the hot glue gun with a craft stick. Set the gun on a heat resistant surface.

Tear open the package of glitzy stones and choose the ones you would like to add to the comb. Choose several to add to each comb.

Place a comb in front of you. Dab the hot glue along the edge of the comb. Do not glue the comb portion of the accessory.

Press the silk flower leaves and flowers onto the hot glue. Completely hide the edge of the comb with the flowers. Use the scissor tips to press the flowers down without burning your fingers. Do this for both combs.

Dab some hot glue on to the tips of the simulated pearl sticks. Tuck them into the flower arrangement. Spread the pearl sticks around to make a pretty spray effect around your comb. Do this for both combs.

Dab the hot glue on the back of the glitzy stones. Press them carefully with the scissors onto the top of the flowers. Spread the stones throughout your floral arrangement to give your hairstyle some sparkle and glamour. Allow the glue to dry before trying your combs out.
