How To Decorate With Tall Glass Vases
Using glass vases in home decor has long been a staple of interior designers. They're available at most hardware and home decor stores and come in an overwhelming variety of shapes and sizes. Things You'll Need
- 3 or 5 assorted glass vases
- 1 pound white sand
- Food coloring
- White candles
- Bowl
- 1 cup water
- Wooden spoon

Decide which color you'd like the sand to be and squeeze food coloring into the cup of water.

Pour half of the sand into a bowl and slowly add the colored water. Mix well with a wooden spoon and slowly add in the rest of the sand. Let dry overnight. If the sand is too dry, add more water.

Once your colored sand is dry, pour it into glass vases. The sand should be about 5 inches high.

Place candles on top of the sand.

Group the glass vases together for best effect.

Tips & Warnings
If the vases are in a highly-trafficked area, use double-sided tape or rubber stoppers to secure them.
