How to Print Memos From a BlackBerry
If you use your BlackBerry smartphone primarily for work, you may need to print a memo or two on occasion. You do not need to go out and purchase any special printer cables. Instead, you can use Cortado Basic Print to print wirelessly from your BlackBerry to a Bluetooth printer. As of January 2010, Cortado Basic Print is the only program that allows printing from a BlackBerry. With Cortado Basic Print, you can print out a memo to any Bluetooth printers that you may have nearby.

Purchase Cortado Basic Print (see Resources) and install it on your BlackBerry. As of January 2010, the cost is $39.98.

Get a Bluetooth printer or go to where there is a Bluetooth printer available; you can only print to a Bluetooth printer from your BlackBerry. For example, your workplace may have a Bluetooth printer in the office.

Bring up the memo that you want to print on your BlackBerry.

Open the menu and select "Print" as your action. If you get a message telling you that more text is available and asking if you want to print it, just confirm that you want to print the entire memo. If you do not want to print the entire memo, then do not make this selection.

Select "Direct Printing" from the " Select printer type" menu. Then select the proper Bluetooth printer from the "Select printer" menu. If you do not see your Bluetooth printer listed, just select "Search" to look for it and then select it when you see it. Once a printer has been selected, the memo will print immediately to that printer.
