How to Delete Outlook 2003 Calendar

Outlook 2003 is still popular today despite the fact that newer editions of Outlook have been released. If you're still using Outlook 2003 and use multiple calendars to help organize your life, you may want to know how to delete a calendar once you're done with it. Deleting extra calendars is a lot easier than it may seem and requires only that you open Outlook and modify some settings.

      Open Outlook 2003 by clicking "Start," "Programs," "Microsoft Office 2003" and "Outlook 2003."

      Click the "Calendars" button located on the left of Outlook.

      Right-click the calendar you want to remove. A menu will appear with options.

      Click the "Delete" button located within the menu. Click "Yes" when asked whether you want to delete the calendar.

      Click "OK" once the calendar has been successfully deleted.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't delete a calendar unless it is absolutely necessary. When you delete a calendar, all appointments created on that calendar are deleted as well, so it's a good idea not to delete the calendar unless you're sure to you want to get rid of all the appointments as well.
