How to Change the Remote Channel on Dish Network

Use the "up" and "down" arrow buttons. These large buttons are found on the top half of your remote and will change the channel one click at a time, just like a traditional remote.

Use the "Guide" button as an alternative. This button calls up a programming guide that you can scroll through to choose a program to watch. Once you highlight the program you want to watch, press the "Select" button in the center of the four arrow keys.

Use the number key pad. Simply enter the number of the channel you want to watch. The remote will automatically change the channel for you.
