How to Wear a Bridal Set
Everyone laughs during a wedding when the groom fumbles with the ring or the bride drops it on the floor. It can be a stressful moment, however, if you don't know where to put the ring. There are many differing opinions on which order the bride should wear her engagement and wedding band on her finger, and it's best to decide before you are in front of all your family and friends.

1
Take off the engagement ring before the wedding ceremony.

2
Put it on the ring finger of your right hand. If it doesn't fit correctly, any other finger of that hand will do. Make sure it's not so loose that it might slide off during the ceremony. If it still doesn't fit right, do not wear it during the ceremony. Put it somewhere safe.

Tips & Warnings
During Jewish weddings, the groom places the wedding band on the bride's index finger of the right hand, according to tradition. This tradition comes from the belief that the index finger contained a vein that led directly to the heart, and this finger was, therefore, closest to the heart of any other finger. Most brides will then move the ring to the left ring finger after the ceremony.
Contrary to the Jews, the Greeks believed that the finger with the vein leading to the heart was the left ring finger. This belief is why tradition puts the ring on this finger. Engagement rings go on top to protect the wedding band, the marriage and the heart.
