1
Purchase a transparent photo mug online or at your local craft store. Unscrew the closure that holds the lining paper between the layers of the mug. Some models unscrew at the top, others at the bottom. Remove the lining paper.
-
2
Lay the lining paper on your work surface. If it is a continuous piece of circular paper, use your scissors to make a straight cut in the paper so it can be laid flat.

3
Choose a theme for decorating your travel mug. Use cropped photos, stickers, written words and other flat accessories to add a personal touch to your project.
-
4
Arrange your photos and accessories in an attractive manner and glue them onto the insert's lining paper. Let the glue dry thoroughly and replace the lining into the travel mug. Screw on the top or bottom of the mug.

Tips & Warnings
Photo insert mugs are inexpensive when bought in bulk and make great fund-raising items for school or church organizations.
Do not put your travel mug in the dishwasher. Instead, wash it by hand without submerging it in the dish water too long.
