Instructions

    • 1

Pour one whole can of coconut milk into a blender. Add 3 tsp. honey and 1/2 a peeled avocado. Scrape down the sides with a spatula since an avocado in its soft state may stick to the sides of the blender.

    • 2

Continue adding to the blender. Pour in the olive oil and mayonnaise and secure the blend with its lid.

    • 3

Blend the mixture until it is smooth in texture and no lumps or discoloration are noticeable. The mixture must be all one color.

    • 4

Pour the hair smoothie into a small plastic container with a lid and refrigerate until needed. The mixture will last for only two weeks at most. Apply to hair as a deep conditioner after washing or put it on as a moisture treatment before washing. Because of the smell of mayonnaise, you may not want to leave it on the hair overnight or use heat on it. This product must always be refrigerated.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your hair responds poorly to protein forego the mayonnaise, which has protein from eggs.
