How to Post a Long Link to Your Twitter Account

Twitter is a social website that allows users to communicate with each other through "tweets", also called "statuses". Tweets are posted to the user's homepage and to their followers' pages. Twitter gives its members the ability to post tweets to include words, photos, videos and links.

Things You'll Need

• Twitter account
• Internet access

Instructions

1. Access the page with the link that you would like to post. Highlight the link, right-click it and select "Copy."

2. Go to TweetBurner.com and click inside the "URL" box with your cursor. Right-click and select "Paste".

3. Click "Shorten it", then right-click the new version of the link.

4. Log in to your Twitter account.

5. Right-click and select "Paste" to paste your link in the "What's Happening" box. Click "Update".
