How to Play Pink Monopoly

Pink Monopoly Boutique Edition puts a feminine touch on traditional Monopoly. Players use girly tokens, buy boutiques and malls, receive text and instant messages and go on shopping sprees. The game board, cards and dice are pink. These charming additions will make the Pink Monopoly Boutique Edition a hit with all your favorite girls.

Instructions

  1. Instructions

    • 1

Place "Instant Message" and "Text Message" cards face down on the board. Choose a banker to handle money, buildings and title deed cards. Gives each player $1,500 divided into two $500s, two $100s, two $50s, six $20s, five $10s, five $5s and five $1s.

    • 2

Choose a token and place all the players' tokens on the "Go" space. Have each player roll the dice. The player with the highest number goes first. Turns rotate clockwise around the board.

    • 3

Roll the dice and move the number of spaces indicated. Collect $200 from the bank each time you pass "Go."

    • 4

Take a card if you land on the "Instant Message" or "Text Message" spaces. Follow the instructions and return the card to the deck.

    • 5

Pay the bank $200 or 10 percent of your total worth if you land on the "Shopping Spree" space. Make your choice prior to calculating total worth.

    • 6

Go to jail if you land on the "Go to Jail" space, draw a "Go to Jail" card or roll doubles three times in a row. You are "just visiting" if you land on the "Jail" space.

    • 7

Get out of jail by rolling doubles on one of your next three turns, using a "Get Out of Jail Free" card or paying a $50 fine.

    • 8

Buy unowned property for the listed price. If you don't want to buy it, the bank auctions it to the highest bidder.

    • 9

Pay rent listed on the title deed card if you land on property owned by another player. Owners of all properties in a color group charge double rent for properties without buildings.

    • 10

Build up to four boutiques and one mall on each property once you own all properties in the color group. Building prices are listed on the title deed cards.

    • 11

Sell buildings back for half the purchase price and mortgage property if you need cash. The mortgage amount is listed on the title deed card. Don't collect rent on mortgaged property. Pay the mortgage and 10 percent interest to unmortgage it.

    • 12

Sell mortgaged or unmortgaged property to another player for half the purchase price. Sell all buildings before selling the property.

    • 13

Exit the game if you go bankrupt. The last player remaining is the winner.

Tips & Warnings

  • Players cannot loan cash to other players.

  • A player may not collect rent if she is in jail or forgets to ask for it before the next player's turn begins.
