How to Make Beaded Elastic Hair Combs

Use elastic and beads to make a decorative hair comb. The elastic acts a string to hold the beads. Use almost any type of beads for the comb. Combining different types of beads may make a pattern. For example, use a combination of crystal beads and pony beads. Plastics hair combs are available at craft stores, usually in the bridal aisle. Buy beads, elastics and hot glue at craft and hobby stores.

Things You'll Need

• Thin elastic
• Scissors
• Beads
• Hot glue gun and sticks
• Plastic hair comb

Instructions

1. Cut a piece of elastic as long as the comb.

2. Thread beads onto the elastic. Make patterns or a random design.

3. Plug in the hot glue gun. Once it's ready, squeeze a line of glue onto the flat part of the comb.

4. Press the beaded strip on the comb. Hold for five seconds to let the glue set up.

5. Let dry.
