How to Find the Serial Number on a CD
When you purchase a CD for a computer program to install on your system, a serial number is typically required during the installation process. The serial number is used as an authentication tool to verify that the CD was legally purchased. Serial numbers on a CD can sometimes be hard to find, if they are there at all. However, there are many places that a serial number for a CD can be located if it cannot be found on the CD itself.
