How to Repair an Old Broken Marble Headstone

Broken marble headstones can be a challenge to repair, especially if the break is old. Over time, the same elements that caused the damage in the first place will make a break in the marble even worse. Rain, wind, sand, and hail can damage headstones, so the headstones should be checked regularly to ensure they are undamaged.

Things You'll Need

• 15-Minute Epoxy
• Soft Brush

Instructions

1. Scrub the broken area of the headstone with a soft brush to clean away any debris.

2. Smear a thin layer of 15-minute epoxy on as much of the broken edges as possible.

3. Hold the two pieces together, putting pressure on them for about one minute.

4. Allow the epoxy to cure on the headstone for at least 24 hours before handling further.
