- 2 pulley mounting hooks
- Rope

Screw the pulley mounting hooks into both anchoring trees. Be sure to install them high enough to accommodate your project.

Attach the pulleys to their mounting hooks and thread the rope around both pulleys.

Pull the two ends of the rope as tight as possible to prevent an sagging and tie the two ends together using a simple knot.

Trim any excess rope from the ends of your knot and test the pulley system to make sure the line moves smoothly around the pulleys when pulled.
