How to Change the Name on an Itouch

It's the perfect way to give your device a personal touch and it can be done with a click of a mouse.

      Connect your iTouch to the computer using the iPod USB cable.

      Open the iTunes program if it has not already been automatically launched.

      Give iTunes 1-2 minutes to detect the iTouch. You will be able to verify that the iPod is connected when you see it appear under "Devices" in the left bar of the iTunes window.

      Double-click on your iPod's current name under "Devices." The name should now be highlighted.

      Press the "Delete" key to erase the current name. Type in the iTouch's new name, and hit "Enter." This will successfully change the name of the device.
