How to Recover Old Download Links From Firefox
Many times, you may download freeware and tools on the internet, but find that you lose the download link when you wish to share with a friend or download another copy later. Luckily, Firefox makes it easy to recover old download links by using its Download Window. In the Download Window, you can not only recover old download links, but also resume partial downloads and recover where you've placed the files you have previously downloaded.

Navigate to Firefox's top navigation toolbar and choose "Tools."

Choose "Downloads" from the pull-down menu that appears.

Scroll through the list of downloads until you find the download for which you wish to recover the download link.

Right-click the file and choose "Go to Download Page" from the option that appear. This will open the page in a new tab within your Firefox browser. From here, you can re-download the file, bookmark, forward or save the link for later.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't wish to navigate to the download page and only copy the link, you may do so by choosing, "Copy Download Link" from the pop-up menu that appears when you right-click the downloaded file. This will copy the download link to your clipboard. You can now paste the link into an email, blog post, Facebook or into the web browser address bar of your choice.
