on 10/28/2009 A good project for little ones to do for the winter months when birds don't have enough to eat.

on 11/22/2005 I have found that it works best if you don't cook the pine cone.

on 11/22/2005 Microwave pnut butter till it's thin and pourable, stirring every 30 sec. or so. Pour into a tall container just wide enough to accomodate pinecones. Dip pinecone into melted pnut butter, then roll in birdseed.

on 11/22/2005 Using a pastry bag will get the peanut butter into all the nooks and cracks of the pinecone and is a whole lot less messy!
