How to Fold and Wear a Do Rag
The do rag is a piece of cloth that forms tightly to the top of the head with a flap of extra cloth in the back to keep it tied on. Do rags are a popular part of biker fashion, and have become a part of youth fashion as well. While pre-formed do rags are available, many people make self-tied do rags by folding and tying a bandana. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Lay the bandana flat and fold one corner of the bandana down towards its opposing corner. The exact length of the fold will vary based on the size of your head. A small head will require a corner to corner fold, creating a triangle; however, those with larger heads will partially fold the corner, creating a diamond shape with one point clipped.
-
2
Place the bandana to your forehead with the folded flap facing in and the folded portion running horizontally across your brow. Hold the left and right corners, adjacent to the folded corner, in your left and right hands.

-
3
Tuck the top, center portion of the bandana down onto your head with both hands without releasing the two corners that you are holding.
-
4
Ensure that the position of the bandana has not shifted. The fold of the bandana should still be low on your forehead, just above your eye brows.
-
5
Tie a double knot behind your head with the two bandana corners that you were holding in your hands. Tie the first knot extra tight as it will loosen slightly while tying the second. The knot should cross over the top, center flap that you pulled onto your head in step 3. Your knots should be tight enough to firmly secure the do rag in place.
